1939 World’s Fair 75th anniversary.

Continuing a theme from last week, today is the 75th anniversary of the 1939 World’s Fair, which was held on the same site as the 1964 fair would be a quarter-century later. This is President Roosevelt’s speech on the fair’s opening day; it was the first Presidential address to be broadcast on television. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rD3c7AD3W-U
